Professional Development Center Successfully Completes the Course "Relay Protection and Emergency Automation"

The Professional Development Center of Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications named after Gumarbek Daukeyev has successfully completed the training program "Relay Protection and Emergency Automation"for specialists of JSC "NC "Kazakhstan Temir Zholy."

The course brought together 12 participants from seven regions of Kazakhstan. The program was designed to strengthen professional competencies in the operation, configuration, and maintenance of relay protection and emergency automation systems.

During the training, participants studied modern principles of relay protection system design, operational and commissioning practices for relay protection equipment, methods for ensuring the reliable operation of power facilities, and approaches to preventing and mitigating emergency conditions in power systems.

Special emphasis was placed on practical training. Participants completed hands-on exercises to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and develop the practical skills required for effective work at electric power facilities.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants were awarded certificates. Programs of this kind contribute to the professional development of energy specialists and support the reliable operation of modern power systems.
