ABB Training Lab

The ABB Training Laboratory, opened at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications (AUPET), is a modern educational, research, and practical space created in partnership with the international technology company ABB.

The laboratory is designed to train specialists in the fields of electric power engineering, automation, and digital technologies. The laboratory is equipped with modern electrical equipment, control systems, relay protection and automation devices, as well as ABB software solutions widely used in power engineering and industrial facilities.

The laboratory's main areas of activity:

- Study of the operating principles of low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment;

- Mastering automation and digital control systems;

- Practical work with protection devices, switching equipment, and intelligent solutions;

- Conducting laboratory work, training sessions, and applied research.

The ABB Laboratory is used in educational programs, advanced training courses, and joint projects with industrial partners. It promotes the development of practical skills, the development of engineering thinking, and the training of competitive specialists in demand in modern energy and industry.
