410 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Simulator

Баннер лаборатории

The 410 MW Combined Cycle Power Plant Simulator Laboratory is a specialized training and practical facility designed for the training and advanced training of specialists in the field of thermal energy.

The laboratory is based on a modern hardware and software simulator that simulates the operation of a combined cycle power plant under conditions as close as possible to real-life operation. The simulator reproduces the technological processes of the gas and steam turbine sections, the waste heat boiler, the cooling systems, the fuel supply, automation, and protection.

Through laboratory and practical classes, students have the opportunity to:

– Learn the operating principles of high-power combined cycle power plants;

– Practice operating equipment in normal, transient, and emergency modes;

– Analyze the behavior of process parameters under changing loads;

– Master the actions of operating personnel in abnormal and emergency situations;

– Improve industrial and operational safety.

The laboratory is used in the educational process for students majoring in energy engineering, as well as in advanced training and retraining programs for power plant personnel. The use of the simulator allows for the development of robust practical skills without risking real equipment and facilitates the training of highly qualified specialists for the modern energy sector.
