"Fortinet" Training Lab

The Fortinet training laboratory, operating at AUPET, is focused on training specialists in the field of information security, network infrastructure and cyber defense.

The laboratory was created in cooperation with the international company Fortinet and provides students with access to professional equipment and software solutions of the Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) class, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), network analytics and security management tools.

Main areas of work:

– building and protecting corporate networks;

– administering FortiGate and FortiAnalyzer solutions;

– modeling cyber attacks and practicing defense scenarios;

– studying security policies and threat management in real time.

The laboratory is actively used in educational programs on cyber security, as well as for conducting practical classes, certification courses and research projects.
