AUPET's Advanced Training Center Launches Five New Courses

The Advanced Training Center at Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications (AUPET) has launched classes for five educational programs.

• The course "Operation of Combined-Cycle Gas Turbine Units at Thermal Power Plants" — training runs from October 5 to 16, 2026;

• The course "Water Treatment in Heat Power Engineering, Equipment Corrosion and Methods of Its Prevention" — training started on October 5, 2026;

• The course "Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Specialist for Power Plants and Substations";

• The course "Automated Commercial Electricity Metering Systems (ACEMS)";

• The course "Advanced Course on 7SA and 6MD Devices" (Siemens);

• The course "Operation of High-Voltage Transmission Lines" — for specialists from JSC "KazTransOil", training runs from October 5 to 16, 2026.

The programs are aimed at improving the qualifications of engineering and technical personnel in the energy sector, covering current issues in the operation of combined-cycle gas turbine units, water treatment, and equipment protection from corrosion, instrumentation and control systems, commercial electricity metering, Siemens relay protection devices, and the operation of high-voltage transmission lines.
