The on-site course "Operation and Modernization of Electrical Equipment of Substations" has begun at the KEGOK

Today, November 17, 2025, the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications' Center for Advanced Training opened an on-site course, "Operation and Modernization of Substation Electrical Equipment." The training is held at the KEGOK training and production facility in Borovoe, providing unique conditions for practice-oriented training.

The course program focuses on modern approaches to the maintenance, diagnostics, and upgrade of substation equipment. Participants are introduced to the design of power transformers, switching equipment, relay protection and automation systems, and modernization technologies at operating power facilities.

The on-site format allows participants to work directly on real equipment and apply their acquired knowledge in practice. Particular attention is paid to safe operation, analysis of the technical condition of substation equipment, and the implementation of modern technical solutions.

The course is an important component of training specialists who ensure the reliable operation and development of the country's energy infrastructure.
