A series of professional courses on relay protection and emergency control automation were successfully completed

The Advanced Training Center of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications completed training in a number of specialized programs aimed at improving the skills of specialists in the electric power industry.

The following courses were offered as part of the latest training cycle:

– "Electric Circuit Switching";

– "Emergency Control System for Distribution Electric Networks";

– "Calculating Short-Circuit Currents and Relay Protection Settings in Electric Power Systems";

– "Relay Protection for Distribution Electric Networks."

The training programs covered key issues in the reliable and safe operation of electric networks. Particular attention was paid to algorithms for operational switching, the operating principles of emergency control systems, methods for calculating short-circuit currents, and the configuration and analysis of relay protection device settings.

The training was conducted with an emphasis on the practical application of knowledge. Participants examined typical and non-standard operational situations, analyzed emergency situations, and studied current regulatory and technical documentation requirements.

Completion of these courses marked an important step in the professional training of specialists, contributing to the increased reliability of electrical distribution networks and the operational efficiency of energy companies. Upon completion of the training, participants received standard certificates confirming their advanced training.
