The Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan paid a working visit to the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications, during which an industrial council on energy industry development was held.

The event addressed current issues related to personnel training, the implementation of modern technologies, and improving the effectiveness of interactions between educational institutions and energy sector companies. Participants discussed current industry challenges, labor market needs, and prospects for the development of vocational education.

Representatives of the AUES Center for Advanced Training presented at the industrial council. In their presentation, the Center presented ongoing educational programs aimed at improving the skills of energy sector specialists, as well as initiatives to develop practice-oriented training and implement modern educational technologies.

Particular attention was paid to digitalization of the energy sector, the development of competencies in automation, relay protection, and industrial safety, as well as expanding cooperation with industry companies.

The industrial council and the working visit of the Vice Minister of Energy were an important step in strengthening cooperation between government agencies, the educational community, and industry, aimed at training highly qualified specialists and the sustainable development of the country's energy sector.
