A new ABB training laboratory opened at AUPET

The Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications held the grand opening of a new educational laboratory, created with the support of the international company ABB.

Representatives of ABB and AUES Rector Gani Saktaganovich Nygymetov attended the opening ceremony. The opening of the laboratory marked an important step in the development of the university's facilities and strengthening cooperation between the university and leading global industrial companies.

The new laboratory is equipped with modern ABB equipment used in power engineering and industrial automation. The educational space is designed for practical training of students, laboratory work, scientific research, and advanced training programs for energy industry specialists.

During the event, ABB representatives noted the importance of training highly qualified personnel and emphasized the integration of modern technologies into the educational process. AUES Rector, in turn, expressed gratitude to ABB for its contribution to the development of engineering education and the creation of conditions for practice-oriented learning.

The opening of the ABB laboratory expands opportunities for AUPET students and faculty, promotes the introduction of advanced technologies into the educational process, and improves the training of future specialists in the fields of energy and automation.
