The Advanced Training Center launched a course on "Relay Protection and Emergency Control."

The "Relay Protection and Emergency Control" course launched at the Center for Advanced Training.

On July 13, 2026, the Center for Advanced Training of the Gumarbek Daukeyev Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications (AUTOC) began training the second group of 12 students in the "Relay Protection and Emergency Control" program at JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.

The course brought together energy specialists from seven regions of Kazakhstan, demonstrating the high interest in improving their professional competencies in the operation and configuration of relay protection and emergency control devices.

During the training, students will learn modern principles of relay protection system design, the specifics of operating and commissioning relay protection and automation devices, methods for ensuring the reliability of electric power facilities, and will also examine practical aspects of preventing and eliminating emergency conditions in power systems.

The course program combines theoretical lessons with practical training, allowing participants to consolidate their acquired knowledge and acquire the skills necessary for effective work at power generation facilities.
