The courses "Routing and Switching in Cisco Computer Networks" and "Huawei OptiX OSN 9800" have begun.

Today, November 10, 2025, two courses aimed at developing competencies in networking and telecommunications technologies launched at the Center for Advanced Training at the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications. The programs "Routing and Switching in Cisco Computer Networks" and "Huawei OptiX OSN 9800" have begun.

The Cisco course focuses on the principles of building a network infrastructure, configuring routing, switching, and ensuring the resilience of corporate networks. Students are introduced to modern Cisco technologies, network protocol structures, and practical administration methods.

The "Huawei OptiX OSN 9800" program focuses on transport network equipment and DWDM/OTN technologies. The course covers the configuration of the OSN 9800 platform, optical channel management, and methods for monitoring and diagnosing fiber optic communication lines.

The simultaneous launch of two courses creates the opportunity to train specialists skilled in both network solutions and optical data transmission technologies, which is especially relevant in the context of digital infrastructure development.
