The courses "Routing and Switching in Cisco Computer Networks" and "Huawei OptiX OSN 9800" have been completed.

Today, November 14, 2025, the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications Center for Advanced Training successfully completed two technical training programs for Kazakhtelecom JSC employees. Participants completed the "Routing and Switching in Cisco Computer Networks" and "Huawei OptiX OSN 9800" courses, aimed at developing competencies in network infrastructure and optical transport systems.

As part of the Cisco program, participants learned the principles of building and administering corporate networks, configuring routing, switching, and network protocols, as well as methods for ensuring the stable operation of network segments.

The Huawei OptiX OSN 9800 equipment course focused on DWDM/OTN technologies, configuring transport platforms, managing optical channels, and troubleshooting fiber optic communication lines.

The combination of these two areas allowed Kazakhtelecom specialists to strengthen their professional skills in both IP networks and optical transport solutions, which are crucial elements in the development of modern telecommunications infrastructure.

Upon completion of the training, participants received certificates of advanced training and noted the programs' high practical value.
