The AUPET Advanced Training Center has launched a course on "Relay Protection"

Today, November 17, 2025, the "Relay Protection" course launched at the Advanced Training Center of the Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications. Participants included specialists from four organizations: Energosistema LLP, Astana-Energia JSC, RTG Tilmash Kazakhstan LLP, and Mangistauenergomunai LLP.

The course program is aimed at in-depth study of the operating principles of relay protection devices, the specifics of setting and calculating settings, and methods for preventing emergency conditions in electrical networks. During the course, participants are introduced to modern types of relay protection, digital devices, selectivity algorithms, and the interaction of protection systems with automation systems.

The training includes analysis of real-world operational cases, practical examples of equipment setup, and analysis of typical faults. This approach allows participants to strengthen their professional skills and improve their readiness to address issues related to ensuring the reliability and safety of energy facilities.

The launch of the course marked an important milestone in the professional training of specialists from several key energy industry enterprises.
